SCHEDULED MEETINGS BETWEEN INDUSTRY PARTNERS & SENIOR GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS
The unique proposition of Digital Government Africa is the dedicated pre-scheduled meetings between industry leaders and government ministers & officials for home affairs, ICT, digital economy, finance and agencies for e-government. This has resulted in outstanding return on invested time at the summit for both governments to learn of the latest technology developments and for industry to meet multiple ministers and officials all under one roof at the same time.
“Digital Government Africa is a ‘cheat-sheet’ for both Governments and private sector to collaborate and get things done! Its format is the ‘secret-sauce’ to this collaboration. Literally, you get access to decision makers on the hand and solution providers in one space. You literally can get a 3 or 4 person team to camp for three days talking to over 20/30 governments for X-times the value!”
Kelvin Sikwibele - CEO, IHM
FORMAT AND OPPORTUNITY
Digital Government Africa is a meetings-based summit between business and government. Half of the event program is devoted to one-to-one meetings. All participating African ministries for Home Affairs/Interior, ICT/Digital Economy, Finance and E-Government Units have their own dedicated meeting area for hosting meetings.
The direct interaction of face-to-face meetings is extremely advantageous in building relationships to:
- Network with Leaders: Engage with high-level government officials and thought leaders driving Africa's digital transformation.
- Gain Insights: Learn about successful digital initiatives and strategies that are shaping governance and public service delivery across the continent.
- Collaborate on Solutions: Contribute to discussions on overcoming challenges in digital adoption & identity, cybersecurity, government cloud services and e-payments.

Partners will often have more than twenty scheduled meetings with government ministries embedded within their forum agenda. This is alongside the numerous networking and on-site engagements that Innovation Africa is designed to encourage.
B2G meetings are scheduled in advance, allowing the strictly limited number of event partners to collaborate, generate ideas, enhance feedback, deepen existing relationships, communicate clear goals and improve your efficiency by having over forty African governments all under one roof at the same time.

GENUINE OUTCOMES
At Digital Government Africa, nobody is an attendee, everyone is a participant – taking part in pre-scheduled meetings to progress partnerships and agreements between government and the private sector. Over 1,000 meetings will be scheduled during the three days of the summit. For the previous forums this format has resulted in genuine outcomes, project implementation and memorandums of understanding that have made a measurable difference across the digital government landscape in Africa.
“Attending the DGA event was an exceptional experience and a great opportunity to represent Ascertia on a global stage. The event was extremely well organised, with engaging discussions and high-quality participation from governments and industry leaders alike. It was inspiring to see how many African governments are actively embracing digital transformation — eager to invest in secure, trusted technologies that can accelerate their digitalisation journey.”
Olivier Zermeli - Head of Alliances, Ascertia
PRE-SCHEDULED MEETINGS
The key to a successful meetings-based summit is our proprietary scheduling software. Accredited partners are given access to the online scheduling system prior to the start of the forum. You choose with whom you want to meet and select the time slot (25 minute windows), thus creating your own meeting’s agenda for the duration of the summit.
Digital Government Africa 2026 will have over 60 dedicated ministerial meeting areas representing African governments. This unique system allows us to organise over one thousand meetings over the three days. Furthermore, our on-site meeting manager allows companies to organise additional ad hoc meetings at the event to maximise engagement time.
“We thoroughly enjoyed participating in the Digital Government Africa Summit. The opportunity to hear from and exchange experiences with fellow African countries on their journey to digitisation was invaluable. We look forward to finalising the productive partnerships initiated during the investment roundtables.”
