Africa’s first ministerial summit for E-government took place in November 2023. A resounding success led by the President of Zambia, Mr Hakainde Hichilema with 25 African countries represented by Ministers of Home Affairs, Interior, ICT and E-Government unit delegations.

This unique meetings-based event in which industry leaders book pre-scheduled meetings with ministerial delegations received a unanimously positive reception from participants and the commitment for all to return for the second edition in October 2024.

Digital transformation is accelerating across Africa and the implementation of E-Government services, digital identity, financial inclusion and ICT infrastructure is the prime driver of African government developmental policy. To achieve such ambitions requires best in class industry solution providers to ensure the necessary knowledge and technology transfer.

Join us for the second Digital Government Africa summit, approved by cabinet of the host country and led under the patronage of the host ministers for Home Affairs & Internal Security, Technology & Science and the Office of the President’s E-Government unit.

“Do we need this digital transformation in Africa in order to grow our economy,
in order to provide opportunity for our people, to create jobs and opportunities?
The answer is absolutely yes and yes and more yes. We have to invest in digitalisation.”
Mr Hakainde Hichilema – President of the Republic of Zambia
