We are AfricaNenda \u2018Nenda\u2019 means \u2018go!\u2019 in Swahili, and this is exactly why we are here.<\/p>\n

We want to accelerate the expansion of access to low-cost instant\u00a0payments systems to Africans all across the continent and\u00a0accelerate their financial inclusion, which is an essential\u00a0need in order for Africa to flourish.<\/p>\n

We work so that everybody in Africa, especially the\u00a0financially excluded, will be able to make and\u00a0receive a payment immediately, at a low cost,\u00a0regardless of where they are on the continent.<\/p>\n

We believe that instant and inclusive payment systems can play a\u00a0pivotal role in creating universal access to financial\u00a0services for many financially excluded adults and are\u00a0critical to achieving universal financial inclusion in\u00a0Africa by 2030.<\/p>\n

We intend to unlock untapped opportunities to drive financial inclusion by\u00a0advancing national and regional instant payments infrastructure.<\/p>\n

We do that through firstly providing pre-project support to leverage\u00a0private capital into investment-ready inclusive instant payments\u00a0projects, and secondly strengthening capacity for and knowledge of\u00a0instant payments in Africa\u2019s most influential institutions, partnering with the existing payments and digital financial services ecosystem.<\/p>\n

We are Independent African-led organization created to accelerate the growth of\u00a0instant and inclusive payment systems that will benefit all\u00a0Africans, including the poorest and currently financially\u00a0excluded. Our team brings together experts in digital\u00a0payments and leaders with regional expertise to support\u00a0African institutions, governments and the private sector.<\/p>\n

The time is now to scale financial inclusion, through instant and inclusive payment systems.<\/p>\n
