AFRICA’S DIGITAL MINISTERIAL SUMMIT

The first ministerial e-government and digital skills forum for Africa took place in October 2023. A resounding success led by the President of Zambia, Mr Hakainde Hichilema with 27 African countries represented.

This is a unique meetings-based event whereby industry partners book pre-scheduled meetings with ministerial delegations.

Digital transformation across all sectors is the top priority for African Governments. Please click the 2023 highlights video below:

“Do we need this digital transformation in Africa in order to grow our economy, in order to provide opportunity for our people, to create jobs and opportunities? The answer is absolutely yes and yes and more yes. We have to invest in digitalisation.”
Mr Hakainde Hichilema
President of the Republic of Zambia

“This 21st century technology revolution is every bit as radical as the 19th century industrial revolution. If we can utilise this properly it is going to be of enormous benefit to the young people of Africa.”
Rt Hon Tony Blair
Executive Chair, Tony Blair Institute

BUSINESS TO GOVERNMENT MEETINGS

At the heart of the summit is the unique format of dedicated pre-scheduled meetings between industry and government ministers and officials.

All participating industry partners will be able to schedule meetings of their choice with ministries of interior, education, finance, ICT and the e-government units from over 30 African countries.

No other event in Africa guarantees such one-to-one meetings giving all participants genuine return on time and investment.
